Emerald Princess

Less than a week after Crown Princess was towed out of the building dock at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard, the water has been drained, the supports on which the ship will rest have been put in position, and the first block of Emerald Princess has been lowered into place. Emerald Princess is set for delivery in the spring of 2007.
Where in the heck is Monfalcone, anyway? Monfalcone is the largest of eight shipyards Fincantieri has in Italy. Monfalcone is in the northwestern corner of the country near Venice.
