Celebrity Solstice Leaves Home

Celebrity Solstice casts off from Meyer Werft in Papenburg (Germany) last Sunday (September 28) for its transit down the Ems River. Once in Eemshaven the small amount of interior work remaining will be completed, embark on its sea trials, it will be furnished, provisioned before leaving for the US on October 24. As you can see from the photos below, the 24-hour river conveyance was watched by tens of thousands. Celebrity Solstice is the largest ship ever to leave the Meyer yard.
