| The first phase of St. Petersburg's new cruise and ferry port opened today (September 10, 2008) when Costa Mediterranea sailed in. The project will be completed in 2010 with a total of seven berths, three passenger terminals and one ferry terminal. The new facility is located on the western side of Vasiljevskiy Island. It is near the old town and a convenient gateway to the city's main attractions. | |
