After you sail a few Carnival cruises you get a gold card, then a few more and you get another color, a few more and you get one the color of another precious metal. But what color do you get when you've sailed a hundred Carnival cruises? Alorzia Jones knows. A week ago today, Mrs. Jones sailed on her one- hundredth Carnival cruise aboard Fascination. She began sailing Carnival 15 years ago in 1991, and that works out to one about every other month. To celebrate the milestone, Mrs. Jones was provided with one of the ship's owner's suites, and was a guest of honor at a dinner hosted by the captain. To mark the occasion, he presented her with an engraved ship's bell. Mrs. Jones doesn't have a favorite Carnival ship; she has sailed on most of them. When in port, she usually stays onboard just to enjoy the ship, and she loves the nighttime entertainment. She hasn't been entirely loyal to Carnival, however. She has tried other lines, but keeps coming back to Carnival. "I keep cruising with Carnival because they treat me the way I like to be treated. I feel at home and the staff on board remembers me, which means a lot," said Mrs. Jones. "We extend our heartfelt congratulations and join in celebrating with Mrs. Jones as she reaches this significant milestone," said Carnival president Bob Dickinson. "The fact that we have guests who keep coming back again and again is a testament to the dedication of all of our shoreside and shipboard employees in providing guests with the ultimate vacation experience." Mrs. Jones isn't the first one to have her Carnival odometer roll over the three-digit mark. Frances Mendin was the first in October 2005. Now she and Mrs. Jones must be locked in a fierce race to the 200 cruise mark. Just think. If Mrs. Jones sails only a few more times, she'll reach the level where she gets two chocolates on her pillow each night.
