Premium Cruise Line To Lead in 10- to 14-day
|
Seattle, May 15, 2006 – A rich palate of 22 diverse itineraries
distinguishes Holland America Line’s 2007 Caribbean season, the most
extensive program of cruises offered by any premium cruise line in the
region next year. With itineraries appealing to a wide variety of
tastes and schedules, travelers may choose from 125 departures –
including 12 Holiday voyages, four short Bahamian jaunts, and sailings
from new Caribbean homeport, New York City.
Nearly half of the line’s Caribbean cruises – 59 in all – are 10 days or longer, allowing savvy travelers more time to experience the culture, wildlife and natural beauty of each destination. From January through April and again from October through December, Holland America Line will explore all corners of the southern, western and eastern Caribbean as well as the Panama Canal on cruises ranging from three to 14 days. Aboard eight ships departing from Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and New York City, guests will enjoy the hospitality and destination expertise that has earned Holland America Line its reputation for excellence and innovation. “Our ships offer the full Signature of Excellence amenities and enhancements, carry fewer guests than any other major cruise line, and in 2007 will offer an unprecedented variety of Caribbean itineraries,” said Richard D. Meadows, CTC, senior vice president, marketing and sales. “Making a Caribbean vacation with Holland America Line even more enriching are the Signature of Excellence enhancements now featured on all of our ships, including the new Culinary Arts Center presented by Food & Wine, the Explorations Café – powered by The New York Times, and stateroom amenities from ultra-comfortable beds to flat screen TVs.” Holland America Line Will Focus on Longer Cruises in Southern
