Pride of America Floated Out

 

 

Pride of America was floated out of the construction dock at Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven last week to the finishing dock where it will remain until sea trials. Handover is scheduled for June 6.

Interior work in the hotel areas is nearing completion as you can see in the photos below from the Capitol Atrium, which reflects the Americana theme of the decor. The atrium is probably the most complete area. Installation of the glass elevators is just about to take place shown in the middle photo. The bottom picture shows the atrium ceiling which was modeled after the dome of the US Capitol.
