Meyer Werft Delivers Disney Dream

The delivery of a cruise ship starts with a lot of signatures. Here Disney President Karl Holz and Meyer Werft Managing partner Bernard Meyer sign the documents transferring the ownership of Disney Dream from Meyer to Disney.
The Disney Cruise Line flag and the Bahamian flag (Disney ships are registered in the Bahamas) are raised on Disney Dream's mast signifying Disney ownership of the vessel.
Meyer and Holz joined Captain Mickey and Donald Duck on deck after the ceremony.
The 128,000-ton Disney Dream is the largest ship delivered to date by Meyer Werft, and one of the three longest in the world. It is shown in these photos during sea trials.
