Queen Victoria Float Out

Fincantieri floated out Cunard's Queen Victoria yesterday. The 90,000-ton vessel is shown here in the drydock just before water began flooding in. Fincantieri's Marghera (Italy) yard is a busy place. Just behind Queen Victoria, the nearly-complete Carnival Freedom can be seen (left photo). In the photo on the right, the water begins to pour in.
